Tics and Tourette’s
Assessment and Treatment
Clear answers. Practical support.
Tics are sudden, repetitive movements or sounds such as blinking, facial movements, or throat clearing. They often change over time and may become more noticeable with stress or tiredness.
Tourette’s syndrome is diagnosed when both motor and vocal tics have been present for more than a year.
Tics commonly occur alongside ADHD, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive symptoms.
